Dr. C. R. Sundara Rajan holds the position of Professor in the Marketing Area. He has 29 years of extensive experience across industry and higher education sector. He has completed advanced leadership training at the Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK), and Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA). Beyond his teaching responsibilities, he serves as Deputy Director, leading the Centre for Sustainable Rural Development and Research Studies (CSRDRS) at VIT, Vellore.

Dr CRS Rajan has secured research grants surpassing ₹1.5 crore from esteemed organizations, including the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). His research initiatives focus on pivotal domains such as digital marketing, rural development, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods. His scholarly and societal contributions have been acknowledged through prestigious institutional accolades, notably the CSR Box National Award (2024) and the FICCI National Award (2022).
