Dr Sivakumar is a Professor in the Marketing Area. He has more than 25 years of experience in academics. He completed a 2-year post-doctoral research at TU Delft Netherlands. He has published a book on Retailing and for 4 years served as a Guest Columnist in RetailBiz a retail magazine. His cases have won prizes at the ISB-Ivey Global Case Competitions and are listed in prestigious Case Clearing houses like Harvard, Ivey. He is an editorial board member of 2 Scopus indexed Case journals and on AIMA’s ICRC. He was nominated for the Outstanding Case Teacher Award Case Centre UK. He has coordinated accreditations like AACSB accreditation at VIT and TAPMI Manipal. He has co-facilitated AACSB’ workshops in India and abroad. He taught as an exchange faculty at Oakland University Michigan USA. He has also taught courses at IIM Bangalore, Vizag and NIAM Jaipur. His research has appeared in journals like IJRDM. He has experimented with simulations in teaching of Marketing and has conducted AICTE sponsored QIPs on Programs on innovative pedagogical tools in Marketing. He has co-authored a project on digital banking for IIBF Mumbai. He has also served as a resource person in EEPs in prestigious institutions like ASCI Hyderabad.
