Dr. Khalid is designated as Professor in OB & HR area, teaching since more than 13 years to under graduate, post graduate and doctoral management students in VIT Business School, VIT, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India. He has more than 5 years of industry experience in reputed pharmaceutical company like Cipla Ltd, and Nicholas Piramal India Ltd, as a Middle level Manager. Dr. Khalid has produced four doctorates under his guidance and also supervising 6 more Ph.D. research scholars in VITBS, and completed one funded research project grant aid of Rs- 5.64 lakhs in 2015 sponsored by Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi and also completed two consultancy project. He has published 36 research journal papers, Out of which 34 research publications in the reputed peered reviewed International journals and 2 in the National journals. I have 13 Scopus Indexed journal publications and 6 ABDC listed journal papers in my name. He wrote two case study with teaching notes and published four book chapters. Syed has performed key administrative roles such as Divisional Chair for OB & HR Division, Program Chair – BBA, Time Table Coordinator, Exam Coordinator, IR Coordinator, NAAC Coordinator, RAAC Coordinator, Proctor Coordinator, MBA Capstone and Internship Project Coordinator, Entrepreneur-Cell Coordinator, and Sports Coordinator, and currently he is performing as HoD for BBA Program. He has organised many training programs, EDPs, MDPs and FDPs and also facilitated many training sessions . He is qualified and certified as an MPTI Administrator for “Modified Personality Type Indicator (MPTI)” by the Academy of Human Resources Development (AHRD), Ahmedabad.
