Dr. Bhumika Bunkar is an Assistant Professor in the Finance division at VIT Business School, Vellore. With a Ph.D. in Management (Finance) from Pondicherry University, where her doctoral research focused on exploring Indian investors’ behavioral intentions toward algorithmic trading platforms through behavioral finance and technology acceptance models. Her research interests include behavioral finance, technology adoption, and fintech, and she holds a UGC‑NET JRF in management. Highly committed to student-centric teaching and meaningful academic engagement, she is currently investigating the application of Artificial Intelligence for analyzing algorithmic trading data to enhance financial decision‑making. Outside academia, she is actively into sports and is continually focused on learning new skills that support her personal and professional growth.
